In the Metro Centre is an Odeon cinema, a Namco Funscape bowling alley/bar/dodgems/arcade and just about any shop or restaurant you can think of. It has its own train station too.
Parking: 
This Nando's is located within the Qube/Yellow Mall of the Metro Centre, so has its own designated parking, but really you can park in any of the coloured car parks (surface and multi-storey) and you have a short walk from wherever you park. The parking is free and there are thousands and thousands of spaces.

All of the staff were very friendly, my wife and daughter have food allergies and the manager came over and sorted our whole order out and even chucked in some free corn for a hungry dad. Food came really quickly and the rainbow salad was something else!

Simon the manager is an absolute star he’s so enthusiastic about the business and shows true passion for the Nando’s brand! He also told us that Joe made our garlic bread and how proud of it he was and he was not wrong presentation and taste was delightful he should be very proud of the cheesy garlic bread indeed. 10 of 10 would recommend

Visited Nandos, Metrocentre, for the first time tonight for my sons 4th birthday, was quickly greeted by a young man named Slee, he showed us to our table and gave it an extra wipe down for us and explained the menu and how to order. He went above and beyond, even bringing my sons birthday cake out and singing happy birthday with us, followed by offering us some cream to go with the cake. Slee made our visit extra special, he was very polite, funny and friendly. Massive thank you to him!

Was served by a young man by the name of Jack who waited with the upmost care for us. My daughters 8th birthday was made twice as good for the extra efforts Jack went to with her, and providing her with a chocolate cake free of charge. Was personally so happy with this experience and so was my daughter, thank you shall definitely return.

Trip to the Metrocentre is not complete without a Nando's.

Entered, and was shown a table almost straight away, which was roughly in the centre of the outlet. Pondered the menu for a while, and went to order. Waited a short while to order, and was served by a pleasant Nandoca who navigated my order with ease, returning to my table.

Despite the Nando's app advising this Nando's is closed for a makeover, it most definitely is open (and has been from July 2013 from what I can tell) - which was news to my ears as I was in need of some chicken and chips to recover from the 50K run around Newcatsle Racecourse I had just done!

Ordered single chicken breast in pitta and I'm not joking it was the size of two chicken nuggets. Complained to the manager who gave me a second chicken breast and advised me to order the half a chicken next time as it is the same price but lots better value for your money. Staff were helpful but portions were ridiculous. Will not be returning.

It was fantastic, my first time to Nando's and was served by Charlotte she was very helpful in what is good to get and explain how things work, the service was second to none as I got back to my seat haver getting a drink and cutlery the food was on its way Andy also lie how they checked if everything was okay and also have a good bit of crack on with you too, I will be returning and now understand the hype and why it is so popular

Absolutely top notch! Great location came straight from the cinema and had food infront of me within 5 minutes! Jonny served us and showed us to our table, really friendly guy and a nice relaxed atmoshpere through-out. Love the whole "checking were ok" thing really makes the whole thing more friendly. Would definitely recommend it to anyone, brilliant!

Seriously the worst franchise I've ever set foot in. My fiancé and I would never ever go back to this branch and that is saying something I have been a loyal customer since 2007! The service from the beginning was really bad- reflection that staff need extra training. The person taking my order got it wrong and failed to recite it back to me otherwise this problem wouldn't have happened.

Great location with a cinema right next to it and gives you a break from all the shops! Feels very homely and therefore I love this branch! Deserves alot more recommendation than it recieves!

In the massive shopping and entertainment complex close to cinema and other food establisments with a open front to the centre. Free parking outside. Very freindly male member of staff let me pick seat but no booths in this store which is big disapointment. Sides were cooked perfectly, chicken well cooked but very small and hardly a sign of sauce. Store clean as were toilets which were close to seating area. Due to open nature of store you can see everyone around store.
