Additional comments: The red pepper dip is outstanding, and with parking in the carpark you get a buy one get one free starter!! Perfect! The butterfly chicken is to die for, and it very juicy and soft. Additional comments: Nice to see the new decoration after the riot damage back in August. Still, despite being new and clean, the decoration is pretty average compared to other recently opened branches, and I wouldn't say Nando's went all-out on this one. There was no eye-catching artwork and nothing unique about the tables and their setup (perhaps Nando's don't want to invest too heavily incase more riots happen in the area!).
Either way, I was brought to Brixton for my usual reason of having a concert at the Academy opposite. This meant there were the usual pre-gig queues, though with plenty of time in hand, it wasn't a problem. Food came quickly once ordered and was of decent to good quality. Not quite enough for a 4 unfortunately, but still worthy of a return. The staff were a mixed bag, with the doorman being very attentive and helpful, and the manager being a keen follower of the website and having some good Nando's insights. However, they were both let down by the woman on the till, who was moody and generally unprofessional. The card machine ran out of paper while I was paying, and she essentially had a sulk before asking the Nandoca next to her what to do. He got her another roll, but threw it at her. As a result she dropped it and I was left waiting while she went to retreive it! Not very professional if you ask me.

Additional Comments: I always get the best service here - greeted at the door with a friendly smile and a 'how are you?' Spacious restaurant. The chicken is always cooked to perfection here, never overcooked. Love sitting outside the front in the sunshine, love sitting in the window in the winter.
The only bad thing is that I have to avoid it when there's a gig on at Brixton Academy as the queues are massive.
