Nando's fans will recall that plans to open a restaurant in Headingley have faced criticism previously, due to the location of the proposed opening, next to Headingley Medical Centre. The original application was submitted in 2011 (here) but was withdrawn by Nando's - only to be resubmitted in August 2013 (as detailed here). That application was granted subject to certain conditions, which subsequently could not be met (through no fault of Nando's) as parking in the local Arndale centre was not suitable.

However, Nando's fans will be pleased to here that changes to the signage at the Arndale centre will be made (advising of the parking situation) and so permission has now been granted, as detailed on the Leeds Gov site here.

There is no indication as to when this Nando's will open, but as with all other Nando's news, we will keep you updated as soon as we hear anything.
