Good day
I have been an avid Nandos fan for the last decade at least, eating at Nandos at sometimes twice a week. Which is why today was such a shock when paying for mine and my fathers Nandos lunch...
I ordered both him and I a half chicken each, with chips and a starter livers with a liqui fruit 340ml can which totalled to R223.00??????
This is totally unheard of and quite frankly shocking how a brand that has grown from strength to strength through the support of Nandos fans like myself, have now decided to quite frankly "milk it", sounds like a Nandos advert this..
R17.50 for a 340ml can of liqui fruit? R40 for a cheese burger only?? starter livers that were R25 have now jumped to R35????
I understand the insignificance of my rant to Nandos yet need to make it clear that even though I can afford to pay this exorbitant bill and many others going forward, it kind of takes the nice taste of the chicken away when one feels "shafted" by a restaurant one has grown to love and support.
The particular restaurant we ate at this afternoon was in Ballito South Africa.
