I love this nandos.

Me and my friends (whenever we come to leisure park) always come here. There is great access for buses and bikes, considering I live just outside town.

This particular nandos has a good vibe. Normally we sit outside because we have time in summer which I enjoy. If we do choose to sit inside, the seats are comfy and the art is nice.

Greeted a little slowly but seated at a small table near the front of the branch. The table was still wet from being cleaned not too long before and there were tomatoes on the floor, some crushed and some not.

Only a 1/4 chicken mango and lime with sweet mash as it was a very late lunch. The food arrived in about 8 minutes which is very decent. What wasn't decent was a staff member who decided to sit at the table opposite me and blow his nose multiple times whilst I was eating...

Nando’s 98 brought us back to the old university city of Cambridge on a super sunny Saturday afternoon. While Cambridge’s first Nando’s sat between high street shops, this newer one was more out of town, in the “Cambridge Leisure” retail complex behind the train station. This complex is basically a huge paved square surrounded by a cinema, bowling alley, gym, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, and all the generic chain restaurants you can imagine, Nando’s being one of them.

Cambridge Leisure is a situated a short 15 minute walk from the centre of Cambridge. It is home to "the junction" which is an arts venue that attracts top national and international acts in the areas of live music, club events, comedy, theatre and dance. It is a venue I have been to many times before, mostly for the stand-up comics.

Timing is crucial when it comes to this Nando's. As it's next door to a Cineworld, expect long queues just before and after a big film is on at peak times. Luckily our arrival at 9pm on a Saturday was late enough to miss the pre-cinema rush, although restaurant manager Francesco thinks his staff do a better job when the restaurant is at capacity.

On my way back from a trip out East, the A14 was as boring as ever, so sparked it up with a stop in at Nando's on Cambridge Leisure Park (just known as Cambridge Leisure). Well sign-posted once you got within a couple miles of it, so easy to find. A large multi-storey car park is also on the complex and after 6:30pm it's only 50p per hour, so very cheap indeed.

Far from centre of town. Near the rail station though.
