Overall impression is it was brand new and my visit was only the stores third day of being open. I was impressed by how great it looked on the inside and the music and layout really showed it was a great and friendly store.

Where the store was located was very well chosen as you literally come out of the store and turn your head to the left and you can see the train station. A short 2 minute walk and you hit the main high street called Botchergate where pretty much ALL of Carlisles clubs and bars are located. The cinema is also located on the same road as well so you can easily go to the cinema, go for some Nandos and then go to a nearby bar or club.

Their is also a taxi rank when you walk out of the store on the stores right hand side it is literally outside of the store as it is located on a main road.So anyone who is feeling too full from Nandos food and doesn't want to walk home it's just a 30 second walk and you can get in a taxi.

I did not know about a student discount but will definitely ask the next time I am in and see what the price difference is.
Parking is quite limited in the city centre itself but you can easily park down one of the side streets and it would only take 5 minutes to walk to the store.

The only let down with the store is that it is a one levelled store so it does get pretty full pretty quickly on a busy night between 6-10pm. It would be advisable to book a table in advance if you are thinking of going at the weekend at a prime time between 6-10pm as you will have to wait for a table to become available.

Overall it is a great new addition to the city and I can see that it will be a great success.
The staff are very friendly and great you with smiles when you arrive and also when you leave as well.
