The date is a guess, as it was a few weeks ago, but it was a weekday dinner to the recently refurbed Dalston branch... and most of my observations match those of Pompey's recent visit.

They've done it up nicely, it's a colourful and vibrant branch with the usual quirky artistic touches and there's a large area on the right as you enter where you can wait for takeaway orders. A trainee took my order and had trouble with the gift card but the manager (whose name was Bubu, or something such) came to assist her. He was generally excellent, even making good conversation with other customers.

Food took a while to come, probably about 2.5/5, but then I was going to put decor at 3.5, so that evens out. The branch, as Pompey mentioned, can be taken care of a bit better. Cutlery and napkins were in noticeably short supply. Chicken burger and chips were both decent; burger could've been bigger and had more sauce but that's an all too common complaint nowadays. Chips pretty good.
