In town for business with an evening to kill, I decided to push the boat out and go for all of my favourite sides (olives to start, large peri chips, garlic bread and haloumi) to accompany my half chicken. I'd usually just opt for one or two, but the hunger from having to wait over 20 minutes to be seated got the better of me.

It was a full Nando's, so it is somewhat understandable that I had to wait longer than usual for my meal. The frustration I felt from being in the restaurant for around 40 minutes before getting stuck in to my chicken, was soon forgotten when it arrived. Noticeably more peri-peri sauce than I have become used to, and a generous serving of peri-peri salt on my chips. The haloumi was cooked to perfection, as I have become used to.

The staff were friendly enough. For a completely full restaurant, including two large parties, the staff on the ground seemed on top of everything, ready and willing to assist with any request.

Overall a good Nando's experience. Especially compared to my attempt to visit the Lothian Road branch the following evening (closed for refurbishment, I was not impressed). Will definitely be going back when I am next in town for business.
