Comments - Stand out in our monthly competition! What did you eat? Unique aspects? Parking/transport tips?:

It is usually in the evening when I get back to Euston station. As I walk past some of the eating places , the smell of food always makes me hungry. It would not surprise me if Nando's chicken restaurant has deliberately piped the gorgeous grilled hot chicken smell outside onto the street to entice customer by to come in.

I like this Nando's because it is next to the Euston station. It is always busy which means there is a fast turn over of food i.e the food will be fresh, not left lying around for hours.

There is always a waiter waiting by the door with the menu card in his hand. He greeted us politely as we walk through the door. Then he show us to our table. With a cramp little place like this, we need to trip over a few suit cases before we can get to the table. Some suitcases were parked by the door and some were under the tables. It is busy and noisy inside but the atmosphere seems good. Everybody was happy and there don't seems to have arguments regarding who should get served first. The waiters were efficient. We made our orders at the till, got our drinks and went back to our seat quick before we got another excuse me throw from behind our shoulder.

We ordered a Meal platter to share which include a whole chicken, 2 bottomless soft drinks and a large portion of chips. I work for the NHS so I got 20% off my bill by showing my NHS badge. It did not take very long for our order to arrive. The chicken smell good and the chips are in large generous portion. Everything was piping hot. It was more than enough for the two of us to shared. Our chicken was flavoured and marinated in half medium hot sauce and the other half very hot. I like the very hot half while my mate like the medium hot half. I like to smother my chicken with a lot of sauce and dip my chips in the ketchup before I eat it. So I got up and to squeeze past some diners and got a bottle of hot peri-peri sauce and a bottle of tomato ketchup back to our table. We were both hungry so we polished up our food in no time at all.

We like to sit on the high stools by the window so that we can look out and see commuters dragging their suitcases and rushing for the trains. It is difference experience eating in this Nando's than any other Nando's that I have been to. It is always nice to know you can find somewhere near by to eat, that is quick and inexpensive before your long train journey home.
