This was one of my all-time favourite Nando's experiences! Having struggled to find a flight from Gatwick South in the first 12 months of this restaurant's existence, a Champions League trip to Athens to see Arsenal thump Olympiacos finally gave me the perfect opportunity to visit the only UK Nando's that serves breakfast.

It was breakfast time and I simply had to try some of the unique dishes that I believe you won't find in any other Nando's in the whole world! The Nando's benedict and pancakes made the cut after I ordered with the delightful Joao and Maurice.

The food arrived seconds after we sat down towards the back of this rather large and colourful Nando's with a fine view of the runway. There's a stunningly subtle world map in the same area that also caught my eye, be sure to check it out.

The chicken benedict was absolutely delicious and very spicy too! The egg went perfectly with the peri-peri hollandaise sauce and the chicken was extremely succulent. The pancakes were served with blueberries and banana which went down very well. This was a brilliant breakfast.

I was told that the breakfast menu is officially available until 11am, but if you really want to try something on there after that time, they will still make it for you if you ask nicely!

This was a Nandventure I'm sure I'll never forget!
