Comments - Stand out in our monthly competition! What did you eat? Unique aspects? Parking/transport tips?:

It's not the first time i've collected my own food and i'm certain it won't be the last. I was in and out of that nando's within half an hour and that's just how i like it. Started off rocky enough. No one there to greet me when i came in, Jay stopped serving someone at the counter so that i could get a table. The restaurant was not that busy so maybe that's why all the staff had disappeared? Because Jay went out of his way to accomodate me, they get a 3 for friendliness.
Tonight i was only having a half chicken with sweet mash and i'm glad my order was small otherwise i would have been waiting for twenty minutes like the ladies next to me & not ten although that was because i went to get it myself. I have to admit it was one of the best meals ever tho i had left the gym hungry!
The chicken was amazing! There was so much sauce smothered on it that there was some underneath the chicken which i could use for the juicy breast pieces. The skin was soaked and just came off, so tasty! The mash was chunky but was hot as they'd just put it down when i picked it up. Everything was perfect!
I've also given this branch a four for decoration because there is a huge abacus in the middle of the restaurant which makes for a great show piece. On the other side there is a huge column which looks. Like it was forgotten during the renovations but I think it adds a rustic feel to the place. The other thing was the toilets where no one seemed to know where it was as there aren't any signs. Once you do go downstairs there's a confusing glass door with "toilets" written in backwards! Doesn't really help when you're bursting for the loo and need to solve riddles on how to get there.
This branch is really easy to get to from west, south, north and central london if not by bus then by any of the 4 train lines which are literally within a 3 minute walk from the site. Its a single bus ride in to Westfields as well where you'll find the overgroud which goes to east london, or to get to shepherds bush so you've got 2 other Nando's nearby. But don't drive to this one unless you get someone to drop you off or they know somewhere to park for free.
