This branch is a bit of a trek for us, we needed to use the car then the tube and finally the train that runs to Stansted from 7 Sisters.
It's 15 minutes’ walk from the station, there may be a bus but we didn’t bother checking. We used a phone app, well one of us did, me and Gerry just followed instructions!
it's situated on the edge of retail park , facing out over a water feature and a massive car park.
we arrived mid afternoon , the branch was very busy and we waited about 25 minutes for the table, as promised.
the decoration is nothing special, the standard red chandeliers, and a triptych of blue splodgey paintings hung on the side wall.
the floor was v v slippery, and despite the yellow warning sign I nearly fell. Maybe this is due to all the dead food on the floor under some of the tables?
The cashier/host Lucas was v v v helpful and friendly and explained rewards and chillies and everything.
Ordered my usual standard ‘reviewers test’ selection, quarter chicken, garlic bread, sweet potato mash and halloumi, it arrived in 10 minutes.
Tried the new sauce, it tastes quite fruity, but i don’t think it's hotter than the extra hot one the matt black bottle.
it was all delicious, especially the mash, very tasty. perfect in fact. The g bread went hard. Not majorly inedible just a bit tough going.
The ladies loo was of a perfectly acceptable standard !
