Parking: 
There are plenty of reasonably priced car parks (with varying opening times) around the town centre including many street parking bays. If you're happy to have a short five minute walk, go for the 24 hour Wilkinsons car park on Alfred Street (opposite the Market Hall multi-storey), priced at £0.70/1hr, £1.20/2hrs, £3/3hrs, £6/6hrs - or have a longer walk (15-20 mins) to get one of the free street parking bays outside of the A62 ring road.

just had my first experience of Rude staff at the Nando's in Huddersfield. Never experienced this before, usually a great lover of Nando's and the atmosphere. My number 1 choice most of the time. On this occasion, the meal is still in my stomach following the rudeness of how the meal was brought to me! why don't you through the food at me , even the person sitting on the next table was SHOCKED! + the "not care attitude" of another staff that came to ask me if my meal was ok.

As mid-Pennine train journey Nando's go, Huddersfield is conveniently located to service the Peri-Peri needs of train travellers. I entered the outlet after the short hop from Manchester on my way to York, and was shown to a table almost immediately. After pondering the menu for a while, I went to place my order, which was quite simple and easy process, returning to the table via the cutlery and sauce area.

Chicken burger was cold sent it back new one came came was so thin could call it a fillet asked manager about thickness said they come in all shapes and sizes and was normal even though my daughter's was 3 times thicker than mine very disappointed

So after finishing the marathon, a post-run Nando's was in order! Being in Halifax it was just a short drive to Huddersfield to visit the only other Northern Nando's I hadn't been to!

This is in the centre of Huddersfield. Usual shops and bars nearby. You can usually find a parking space for free or cheap on the streets around it. However I wouldn't recommend going as the chips are never cooked properly (undercooked, pale yellow and hard!), staff don't listen to your request of ensuring the chips are well done (i.e cooked properly!

I have a wheat and gluten intolerance and first tried Nandos after being turned away from all the other food places in town. By the time I got to Nados I was in tears. When I explained the problem to the lovely woman who showed me to my table, she first said that she understood - someone she knew was coeliac.
