This was my 137th different Nando's visit, and it was the same for James as we reconvened in Greenwich at one of the biggest UK Nando's on a non-concert day (big plus!) for a big Sunday lunch. The seating is located over two floors and the bathrooms are on the third floor with a spiral staircase linking them together. The décor is great with a huge Nando's heart dangling over you as you walk in, various eye-catching pieces of artwork and spacious, comfortable tables.

There was no queue to order after a pleasant exchange with manager Angelo who clearly loves the chaotic nature of a fully-packed Nando's on gig night. He was telling us there are often problems with Nandoers queuing outside the restaurant for as far as the eye can see! Hardly a surprise of course.

The food arrived before James and I had returned to our table, perfect! While Saskia and James both commented on how fabulous their double chicken wraps were and how tender the chicken was, I was far from impressed with my extra hot half chicken. There was a minimal amount of sauce provided, the chicken was dry and the bone was sticking out of the seemingly deformed wing. I requested an improved wing which soon arrived, was covered in sauce and was pleasantly spicy, why can't it always be like that!

Overall the food was a let down for me but other members of the party were happy, the staff and décor were great and we were truly entertained by the Nando's finger selfie concept. Worth a visit but avoid on concert days unless you're going to a concert!

Parking is £5 for 0-2 hours by the way. Public transport is recommended otherwise.
