Had to spend a Sunday evening away on business and arrived at the hotel at 9pm and quickly checked my Nandos app to see if I could find anywhere specialising in Portuguese grilled chicken nearby! Fortunately I found the Poole Tower Park branch nearby. This branch is situated on a retail park outside the city centre with plenty of parking. It also has a cinema next door for that classic Nandos and a movie combo nights out. However I didn't have time for a movie on this occasion as it was 21:30 by the time I arrived with a work colleague. The staff were a bit too quick to point out they were closing soon (at 10pm) however when we explained we "knew what we were doing" and were adept at quickly scoffing down some peri peri chicken they led us to a table. Unsurprisingly at this time on a Sunday evening it was less than half full.

As this was an all expenses business trip we treated ourselves - 2 x hommous, Olives and I ordered the Chicken Thighs, extra hot, chips and coleslaw and some chicken livers (extra hot). My colleague ordered Chicken butterfly (medium) with sweet potato mash and rice. He also ordered some Halloumi however we were told this was not available!?!?!?

When I went to pick up my cutlery and sauces one of the waiters was busy cleaning the area and wouldn't let me take any ketchup or peri peri sauce. instead he asked me what I wanted and offered to bring it over. At first I thought what great service however in actual fact he brought a small pot of ketchup and and a small pot of extra hot sauce - why couldn't I have the bottles? I get the impression he didn't want to have to wipe the bottles clean again and tidy them up. Not the greatest customer service???? I like to liberally spray the sauce all over my chicken and chips and this option was taken away from me. Not impressed!

The food arrived very quickly however my colleague received a plate of chips instead of sweet mash potato! To give the staff credit they quickly put this right and let us keep the extra plate of chips! However the lack of halloumi left my colleague somewhat disappointed with the overall experience.
