RYN7 was at the always-eye-catching Southwark Arches branch and proved to be quite a mixed bag. Décor was great as usual, place seemed clean enough and there were plenty of sauces available.

Staff could’ve been better, if I’m honest… Three main black marks being 1) one of the Nandocas inexplicably made us queue around the side of the tills (despite not really being in anyone’s way), which led to queue-jumpers – to which they just shrugged; 2) my order was nearly taken down incorrectly; I’d asked for a butterfly burger no mayo… and it’s only when I asked for one side did she say “butterfly chicken only comes with two sides” (i.e. didn’t hear the burger bit) – to what did she think I was saying ‘no mayo’ to then?; 3) Some people apparently got 20% off, others didn't; which was also a bit annoying.

Food was ok; burger and halloumi could both have been bigger; peri chips were good, and the free wings and pitta very good, so 4/5 average (almost a bit more). It took a while to come but staff did at least tell us there'd be a 20min wait.

All in all, another good event hosted my Marc and James; no raffle win again but it was a pretty easy quiz win with Steven, Liv and Tom.
