Was very good food I was standing at the door for a small while when I walked in but on of the grillers/chefs saw we hadn't been seated and came over was very nice and polite I think his name was Nathan or Nicholas and the food was great too

The first of two birthday Nando's took me to St Albans via St Albans City train station. £7.90 for a return ticket from Mill Hill which also allowed me to break my journey so although only one Nando's was planned, I got a second branch visit with no extra expense.

It was ok, it's our regular Nandos as it's our nearest. Service was ok, but the staff our generally usually very good. It's over 2 floors which I like, going to the second floor is good. Parking is a bit tricky, unless you go at night and then the restrictions aren't as rigorous.

Sometimes get parking right outside.
Fellow South Africans work there, always a bonus.
Only one downer is I wish they made the livers like they do in South Africa. Lots of sauce.

Working locally, this has become a regular haunt, it allows me to get some peri-peri goodness, instead of Heinz tomato soup and it allows for some socialising with work colleagues. It is worth noting that it is almost impossible to park for free in St Albans during the week, however there are good parking facilities at the nearby Maltings Car Park or St Christopher's Place.

After the disappointment of finding Hatfield closed for a refurbishment this Nandos was my alternative point of call. This store is in the main street of this historic town which is more likely to be on Time Team than clubbers weekly. There are loading bays outside which are free to park in after 6pm and I would suggest these the best places to park.

Arrived here at about 1pm on a Sunday - and the town centre was bustling with an outdoor market and a stage closing Peters Road. I've found out since if I had hung around for another 4 hours, I would have seen Gareth Gates... oh well - life is full of missed opportunities.... lol

Parking £1.20 for an hour or £2.20 for 2 in the nearby multi-storey car park.
It was time for me to visit a new Nando's alongside Emma, one of the most well travelled Nando's fans I know!
As you walk in, the branch seems rather standard with a long staircase leading upstairs which resulted in a surprise towards the end of the meal as there was a whole separate seating area and tills to order, not just toilets.

My girlfriend wanted to show off her hometown branch that she’d told me had awesome décor and good food, so I ventured out of London to visit it! It was quicker than getting to a branch the other side of London anyway.

I have been to this Nando's on a few occasions but this time I was very dissapointed for various reasons. Firstly the staff (this has been an issue on previous visits too). Although I have come accross some friendly chefs in this branch before, I have enounterd the rude waitresses on a few occasions now (not all of them are rude, just a particular few).

Smack bang in the middle of St Albans city centre with easy access to the shops so you can stroll around town and work off the extra calories from the food! The upstairs tils weren't turned on so we had to go downstairs to order and the lift was locked so we had to call someone to open it for us! Parking in St Albans is expensive so it's difficult to find anywhere to park cheap. The service was good, the food came within 5-10 minutes and so really quickly and the food tasted amazing.

Nando's St Albans isn't my local by any means (Edgware, Finchley Lido and Enfield share that honour) but each of those three have been so incredibly average lately I felt the need to venture further afield in order to be satisfied with my meal.

Nicely furnished and good food. Never been at a busy enough time to judge the speed properly. Quite small so I imagine it can get busy.
