Comments - Stand out in our monthly competition! What did you eat? Unique aspects? Parking/transport tips?:

I attended my first Rate Your Nandos event at Vauxhall Arches. On entering it is a gorgeous Nandos and I love the arched ceilings. We were placed in little side rooms for our event, which were very small and rather cramped and as the evening went on it got rather hot and stuffy in there. I do understand why they put us there but I'd like to go back and sit in the main restaurant area. The food took quite a while to come, but we were a big group so that is fair enough. Unfortunately I had to send mine back as it wasn't quite right, and when it came back they'd lost the perinaise off my plate and it still wasn't quite right but I wasn't going to send it back again, especially when there were so many of us. It also took them quite a while to come and clear our tables so we could get going on the quiz.

The location was great, 30 seconds from Vauxhall station, if that, so very central and easy to get to. One downside is no phone signal. I don't know if in the normal seating area this is an issue but where we were this was. Just a note incase you went there and might be urgently contacted.

It seems a bit unfair to judge them on last night's effort as there were so many of us, all ordering at the same time, but I would definitely go back and see what they are like on a "normal" night.

Totally agree about the messing up of your meal! At the time I didn't think that the waitress had understood what you were asking for when you sent it back and it's a shame they still didn't get it right.

Was nice to meet you.
