Comments - Stand out in our monthly competition! What did you eat? Unique aspects? Parking/transport tips?:

The nearest parking is the car park is a short walk away on River street and cost £4 for 1 hour, £6 for 2 hours and £8 for 3 hours making this an expensive place to stop but still a challenge to get a parking spot. The store is just over the road from Windsor castle and as such is the Queen's closest Nandos.

The front is attractive with Grey wood window frames and front and a subtle Nandos logo hanging out the front. At front of house the store has booths on the left and tables and chairs on the right. Mid store the counter and kitchen and to the right of this an airy side seating area with a lot of roof lights. The store was generally smart and tidy and the toilets downstairs were clean with black slate.

There were no forks in the pots when I ordered so I asked a member of staff, she said they were washing them. The food took a long time to come out but when it did there were still no forks. I asked the waitress again and she said said the dish washer hadn't finished yet. A) how long does their dish washer take? B) Is it beyond skill to find a fork and wash it by hand for me C)did they not have any plastic forks for take away customers D)how come they have so few forks that they can all be in the dishwasher at the same time. She wasn't apologetic about it and more seemed annoyed I was hassling her again and why didn't I just eat my meal with my fingers. My fork finally turned up after another few minutes.

The chicken burnt and had the charred taste permeated through the meat, it also looked quite mangled especially the leg piece and part of the wing missing from the breast and looked like one of the corgis had been at it.

The store itself was nice but needs an improvement in the food and also customer service.
