Was in Aldershot for two days and Wokingham Nando's was merely a 25 minute drive away, so off I went!

This Nando's is located in the town centre and is easily found by car. Follow the signs to the Police Station or Denmark Street car park for a cheap short stay car park only a couple minutes walk away. It's priced at 0.70p/1hr, £1.20/2hr, £2/4hrs (max stay) between 8am-6pm Mon-Sat and free outside these times. There are two car parks here, a council and non-council one so make sure you buy the ticket from the correct machine (if applicable). Wokingham Train Station is also only half a mile away.

Arrived here at about 8:30pm and had a wait of 5 minutes as the restaurant was full. No wait to order though and the food came in just under 10 minutes. The staff were quite chipper - certainly more than the bog standard chat going on - and they did seem quite welcoming to all parties.

The food was delicious too. Although the portion of chips was pretty average in size, they were piping hot and obviously just plated up - and the rice was also steaming and very moist. The chicken was a bit of a mixed bag. The portion size was notably average, and although caked in sauce, it was quite dry inside. Bit of a shame, but overall I think an average piece of meat this one.

The restaurant itself was a bit unusual. There's distinctly two halves of this branch. At the front is the rustic decor with splashes of colour everybody loves - a mixture of tables/chairs, two-seater mini-booths and bench/tables/chair seating - and pots/vases and multiple canvas paintings. The lighting consists of multiple ceramic pots suspended from the ceiling with yellow and orange bulbs inside too. Then... towards the back... it's very different! There's a sort of futuristic theme where the walls and floor are covered in a pale greeny/blue pattern and all the ceiling fixtures and light fixtures are in chrome underneath this big skylight. All of the two-seater tables/chairs along the back wall are painted white too - and then you have some "normal" four-seater wooden booths with patterned upholstery. Although it's great, I'm not sure that the whole restaurant fits together in the decor, but it's still quite nice anyway.
