Decided on Nando's for Sunday lunch, and what a disappointment! A scrawled notice on the door advised some items were missing from the menu, and that there would be an at least 30 minute wait due to 'technical problems'. Oh dear.

Unfortunately this Nando's appeared to have run out of nearly everything, including Halloumi, butterfly chicken, houmous, avacado, spicy rice, so on. So after attempting to order and being pushed back, I finally had a chicken breast fillet burger mango and lime with chips and garlic bread. The burger wasn't great. The chicken was clearly not meant for the burger, as it was shredded and split in to separate bits. As if it was meant for the kids meal. The chips were a little squidgy and not great, with the garlic bread somewhat lacking garlic bread. My friend ordered a chicken with Halloumi wrap, however they got a mushroom wrap instead before being told they had no halloumi! Not a great substitution!

The staff were Ok, seemed a little stretched, with lots of newbies on site. Didn't make for a great customer experience.

As always, an okay visit, but would reccomend the York Monks Cross Nando's over this one!
