All staff were outstanding other than the management! I was absolutely appalled by the way in which the management treated and spoke to the staff. This is not the first time I have witnessed this or somebody I have known witness this and seems to be a common occurrence. Management seems to have changed and certainly not for the better. Will not be returning until change has occurred.

Well, I worked in this branch for exactly four years and a half. I came here after 6 years of leaving this branch! Mike Gunby was my manager first two things he focused on were presentation and hygiene. We were never that bad, waited outside for about 10 min, only4 tables were occupied, people came after us; yet they had to wait as well.

Me and my husband have visited Nandos yesterday - we've really enjoyed our visit. We were one of the first customers and have been served very quickly. Food was excellent and very tasty as per usal. All staff are friendly and always happy to help specially Kris who even took a photo for us :) I would recommend this place to anyone.

Parking was free so its a bonus! But it was so so packed and they said it would be a 5-10 min wait but we waited atleast 30 mins for a table and another 30 mins for the food to arrive! But it was still SO tasty - except the peri chips which were cold but as soon as we told a waiter he brought us new ones asap which was super sweet! Its friendly and the ambience was lovley with music and chatting :)

Loads of parking next to this store which services a cinema and a bingo hall. When I got in the Patreo was on the phone, he started walking to me, I was expecting him to hand signal me or some other way tell me just a minute. Nope he just ignored me and kept walking around on his phone for 4 or 5 minutes and whilst there were other staff near by none of them were willing to take over and welcome and seat me.

To say the experience of my visit was appalling does not give it justice.....awful staff, awful manager, mediocre food.
Staff could not care less, we cleared our own table. Took 20 minutes to bring a child's ice lolly, yoghurt machine broken.
Very quiet and so many staff on just chatting to each other and taking absolutely no notice of the customers. We watched two parties walk out after standing & being ignored...

As far as nando's go this one was wack bang in the middle. Average as they come. Granted it was a match day and they were absolutely Aaron Ramseyed a lot can be forgiven. However a few things really stood out as poor to me.

1. The lack of knives. With 2 to share between 6 it wasn't ideal.
2. The burning of haloumi. Delicious cheese normally but a burnt piece not pleasant.
3. The lack of sauces. I love my dipping sauces and they seemed to be just less than normal.

My first trip to Leicester was set up perfectly for a pre-match Nandventure with Leicester City's King Power Stadium just a short walk away. There was a long queue outside when we arrived which ended up taking around 15 minutes to infiltrate and be seated at a lovely, colourful booth just by the entrance.

At one point one of the cupboard doors fell off as it was being opened by a member of staff, dealt with immediately with a warning notice put on it straight away.

One of the very best Nando's - the other best ones are also in Leicester! It's mainly down to the staff, both the way we get treated by them and how they cook the food. Parking is straight outside the door in a large open car park, as they share the site with a gastro-pub and a large multi-screen cinema.

It can get busy when the crowds are eating en route to the cinema, otherwise fine.

The frozen yogurt machine, which for me is an essential at Nando's, was broken after only 1 trip. The staff did the best they could though which was a plus sign.

We were in a big group and so therefore relegated to the high stools which for some were not comfortable and resulted in some discomfort whilst partaking of their peri-peri fix; would've been nice to have some proper tables.

The staff were amazing. My sister had a baby that may have needed to be breastfed so we specified for a booth and the staff were very understanding. We had to wait a few minutes for one to become available but they made us feel comfortable whilst we waited. The food came super quickly and was perfect as usual. The chicken was nice and juicy, the perfect temperature. The chips were crispy and fluffy and the mash was super creamy, just how we love it!

Came to this Nando's for Sunday lunch and it was very nice indeed.

It's located on the Freeman's Lesire Park which has an Odeon on it too - and certainly on this Sunday, the parking was free and had hundreds of spaces right outside. Just FYI, although all websites say Freemans - all the signposts say Freemens.
