Shepherds Bush - Blaynos Review
Almost in the shadow of Westfield is where Shepherd's Bush high street, which is where an older - seemingly less-loved Nando's is located. Doesn't really stand out from the outside and the interior isn't much to write home about either. Very small service station and the seating half of the restaurant seems pretty dark.
I headed down during Friday lunch and was surprised to walk in to a completely empty entrance. A Nandoca, who was doing some light cleaning, came to greet me and I ordered from here straightaway. Almost immediately afterwards, a swathe of people flocked to the tills, probably close to two dozen. I figured I had just about got away with it, ordering first, but my food took a few years to come. The same girl who took my order also handed me my takeaway and apologised for the delay (no other staff seemed to care) and had I not been in a hurry to get back to the office, I might have asked where my stuff was and maybe even tried to grab a free halloumi side or something. Food itself was alright, my chips had a huge amount of peri salt on them - probably the Nandoca trying to compensate for the lateness (if I find the receipt, I'll mention her name here later, but she saves a '4' for staff).
Frankly, if you're in the area, go to the Westfield branch. It's miles better.
