Perfect hosting from a staff member named Steven! Felt incredibly welcomed and warmed by his accommodation especially and offered plenty of help when needed. Served with a smile and made us all feel at home. Will definitely be returning. Thanks Steven :)

Went for a late night Nandos at Sauchiehall Street, we arrived and were quickly ushered to a table. I wanted to try the new chicken thighs but they were all sold out, although this can be forgiven as it was late at night.I ended up going for a medium chicken breast with rice and salad. The food was to the usual good standard and came quickly. The staff were very friendly and apologetic for the lack of chicken thighs.

This store on the popular Sauchiehall road which is one of the major shopping streets of Glasgow and is outside of the pedestrian zone. The store has a feeling of Rennie Mackintosh from certain elements of the store not least the stained glass Nandos above the door which they missed a real trick in not back illuminating. Curved glass in the windows and porch add to the interest along with the stressed wooden louve doors used as ornamentation.

It's good to see there's finally a Nando's on Sauchiehall Street - a road filled with restaurants. It's walking distance away from Buchanan Galleries and the Cineworld (just before the O2, on the opposite side of the road), and there is on-street parking around the area but I would assume it's restricted or pay & display (it's a one-way road, if you've not been before). The Nando's itself was nice and clean - as you'd expect from a new branch - with its usual quirky decor.
