What do you love about Nando's?:
I co-run Rate Your Nando's alongside James and focus mainly on Events, our Weekly Competition and Social Media. My favourite parts of the RYN community which we've created are getting a big group together for a meal (especially with people I've met through the website) and visiting different Nando's for the first time.
I can vividly remember my first Nando's in Edgware when at primary school and some family friends took me to the best chicken place in town. Although I struggled to eat the chicken off the bone at the age of 10 (my friend's mum cut the chicken into small pieces for me), the peri-peri passion was born.
During my teenage years, Nando's visits became more frequent, with James being a regular, fellow Nandoer, and I then started visiting Nando's all over London and Birmingham, where I studied at university, which then spread to other UK cities in conjunction with my support for Arsenal. No away day (and the occasional home day) is complete without a Nando’s either before or after an Arsenal win!
As for my most intense Nando's period, I once visited 8 central London restaurants (a combination of Euston, The Brunswick, Berners Street and Great Portland Street) in 9 days. Who can beat that? Go on, I challenge you!
My international Nando's experiences include Ireland (Dublin and Cork) and a memorable three Nando's in three days in Dubai in late 2015 which included the amazing cataplana and table service! I have to say I still prefer the UK model overall.
