We believe there have been multiple movements regarding new and rumoured restaurant openings this week, so here is a summary for all of our fans:

Confirmed openings:
- St Andrews. A trawling of the Twittersphere, shows that many lucky peri-peri enthusiasts are actually enjoying a FREE Nando's as we speak in the new St Andrew's restaurant. Yes - some people are actually eating Nando's today, Sunday 19th May. This can only mean the official opening of St Andrews is imminent!

Other restaurant movements:
- Gravesend. The local council approved plans to redevelop the Heritage Quarter and Nando's is already touted as a favourite to apply for permission. The full story can be seen on Kent Online.

- Manchester Piccadilly. Various news stories have provided anticipated opening dates for the new Piccadilly complex. Originally scheduled for Summer 2013, we have now updated our Opening Soon & Restaurant Rumours to show December 2013, based on a number of these sources.

- Redditch. Capital & Regional plc are the people behind the redevelopment of (part of) the Redditch Kingfisher Shopping Centre. Their Interim Management Statement released yesterday (Saturday 18th May here) states: "Planning approval granted for The Hub leisure concept at Redditch and three out of four restaurant units already under offer, with Nando's as the anchor tenant..." - so fingers crossed we receive an idea of an opening date in the near future!

Remember that all the latest restaurant rumours and opening details can be found on our Opening Soon & Restaurant Rumours page which is updated frequently!
