A question that is often asked, is "How many Nando's are there in the UK?"

Well, only last week, Nando's celebrated opening its 475th restaurant in UK, with Lisburn taking the honour of being the 475th!

How are the restaurants currently split across the UK?

- Northern Ireland: 11 (2.3%)
- Wales: 14 (3%)
- Scotland: 33 (7%)
- England: 417 (87.7%)

If we look at the latest population estimates

- Northern Ireland: 1,895,510 (2.8%)
- Wales: 3,169,586 (4.7%)
- Scotland: 5,466,000 (8.2%)
- England: 56,550,138 (84.3%)

Then we can see Wales and Scotland are not getting their fair share of Nando's!
