We reported at the beginning of the year that Nando's was looking to open in Horsham and since then this has been on our own Opening Soon & Restaurant Rumours page as a Lemon & Herb rumour.
Well hopefully that spicy status could soon change, as Nando's have now submitted a planning application to Horsham District Council for change of use of the Kings Head Hotel on East Street, as reported by West Sussex Today here.

Ordered takeaway from here last night - really not very good at all.
There was a minimum of four minutes from restaurant to my plate at home, but still the sweetcorn was dry as a bone and more or less cold. My girlfriend's steak sandwich was tough, and again cold. My chicken thighs were the smallest I'd ever seen (even compared to other Nando's locations), and the 'large' macho peas container was only half full.
Pretty poor overall. The only positive was the speediness of the order, but from how things tasted it had been sat on the counter for half an hour anyway, waiting for any takers.
