Aberdeen - Belmont Street - James RYN Review
Time for the Northernmost Nando's in the country! I think this is the first time I've ever said 'Empty' for 'How Busy?', since there was literally only one other table occupied. I was therefore sat immediately and ordered right away.
The food came in 5-10 minutes, and was above average on the whole. I started with the chips which were hot and fresh, though didn't have much peri-peri salt. The butterfly burger then followed, and it was covered in sauce, hit nicely inside the bun, and the bun was softer than usual, which helped it fit in my mouth! I finished with the rice, which was probably the most disappointing part, being a bit dry and not being overly flavourful.
So now I've been to both Nando's in Aberdeen, which will I choose next time I'm in the city? Difficult to say really. I liked that this was a quiet restaurant, tucked away a bit, though perhaps not quite as convenient as Union Square, with the shops and close car park.
