My first trip to Aberdeen, and I found myself right next to Union Square shopping centre. A visit to Nando's was therefore on the cards! It was easy to find amongst the restaurants on the first floor of the nice new shopping centre, and in a prime spot right opposite the cinema.
Ordering was easy with a friendly Nandoca, and the food came in just under 10 minutes. A solid 4.5/5 for the food, with perfect moist rice, and a huge butterfly burger covered in Extra-Hot sauce. There were too many chips for me to finish, despite only ordering a single portion, though they weren't the best chips I have ever had, and the only thing bringing this meal down from a 5/5. I also tried the new BBQ mayonaise (now found in the Churrasco thigh burger) which was delicious, and a strong contender for 1st choice versus perinaise from now on.
There was some interesting art on the walls, and decoration was pleasant and typical of a 4/5 Nando's.
Of course I have to go to Belmont Street next time I'm in Aberdeen, but I would certainly recommend this Nando's to anyone in the area.
