Altrincham - Pompey Ranger Review
I parked in the Stamford quarter car park which is a mixture of multistory and roof top car parking which feels like it takes you over the top of every building in town in its one way system a £ an hour £2 for 3 hours quite cheap. The store is a short walk from this modern shopping centre in a prominent corner building.
The store is impressive and colourful, has a disabled toilet down stairs with the smart clean light toilets upstairs. The stairs are a cork covered twisting circular stairwell which is a prominent feature, though does need some of its cork veneer replaced.
The walls have been vigorously distressed of their plaster and I was greatly concerned I could see large chunks of daylight through the bricks under the upstairs window sill by the stairs. I did worry for the structure of the building. But good artwork makes the building nice.
The staff were very friendly and introduced the names of the floor walkers on my arrival, was nice to be given such a warm welcome.
The chicken came out spot on and was very tasty.
