Arundel Mills - snowcover Review
As mentioned in a previous review, this Nando's is an island of calm in an otherwise frenetic environment. It is lodged in the walkway between the huge Arundel Mills mall food court and the huge casino. Luckily, there is a glass wall separating the Nando's seating area from the rest of the food court and the walkway, so you are really stepping into a separate space.
The service at this branch usually leaves something to be desired, and the patrons here tend to be less considerate than those at other branches. On my most recent visit, I was the first one waiting to place my order, so I stood between the ropes in the designated queuing area, but others came and stood directly behind specific tills, and they got to place their orders before I did. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, they simply shrugged, acted like it was my fault, and made no effort to remedy the situation.
Also on my most recent visit, my mother and I both ordered chicken wraps, and mine came out dry with almost no chili jam, and my mother's came out swimming in it - where's the quality control? When we brought this to the attention of the manager, he offered to give us our next meal for free, but didn't give us any sort of card or certificate; he just said to ask for him by name and that he would remember us. Well, we weren't about to test whether he'd actually remember that...
