Another Nando's within walking distance of our hotel, we had to choose between this one and the one in the huge Suria mall across the road under the Petronas Towers. Thinking that one would probably be a little busier, we opted for Avenue K, and it turned out to be a good choice with only a few tables occupied on arrival.

We were quickly seated and took a moment to enjoy the decoration. This Nando's seemed very new, with an interesting wooden sculpture across the ceiling and a good selection of booths and larger tables for groups throughout. Definitely the nicest Nando's of the trip so far.

We both fancied straightforward chicken rather than a burger/pitta/wrap today, so we went for a full platter which came in at a rather cheap £14.50 for the full chicken and four sides. The food came out after only a few minutes for a rare 5/5 for speed of service, and we were quickly tucking in. The chicken was very well grilled, with just the right amount of char, and still nice and tender throughout. We opted for wedges rather than chips as one of the sides and they forgot to add the peri-spice. I then asked a waiter to bring some over and luckily he brought over a small dish full of the stuff for us to sprinkle to our heart's content. This made them the best wedges of the trip since we have found the peri-spice rather lacking elsewhere! I also had some of the spicy rice, which confirmed I had definitely been given the wrong type of rice yesterday. While the Mediterranean rice was nice, the spicy rice was even better.
