Baker Street - Gerry Louis Review

because this is a top tourist area in london i recommend taking the bus into town to get here. this is a one way street but the bus stop is right opposite the nandos. if you are willing to drive around to find parking then do so but i dont think it's worth it. i was greeted by a very friendly maitre'd and i was seated straight away. unfortuantely i had a table next to a family with naughty, noisy children otherwise the service and standard of the restaurant was great.
i ordered my usual half chicken, mango and lime with sweet potato mash though i had to find the lemon and herb sauce myself from another persons table. the chicken was slighly burned, but the mash was so nice and creamy, no huge chunks like at some places.
the restaurant got busier as i got there so it is a very popular place so the time of day is quite important when you go, it was also a sunday so i imagine it is worse during the week. i enjoyed the food and the restarant was clean and lively. i would definitely go again.
