Baker Street - Adam Nicol Review
A visit to a new Nando's with my friend who had just got back from visiting home. This was the next branch on my list of central London branches. It's easy to find, just a minutes walk from Baker Street station. Got a bit disorientated at first then realised I could actually see it from the station. I thought it was really small at first before I noticed it had a downstairs, we got seated in the smaller upstairs on a table for two, they weren't too squashed up against each other so that was good.
Friendliness of Staff - The staff were friendly enough but when we went up to order there was only one person on the tills while 4 or 5 people were stood behind him chatting, this was a bit annoying while I was waiting to be served 2/5 for staff.
Speed of Service - There was no queue when we ordered, but one quickly formed behind us, as I just said there was only one person on a till so it took longer than it could have for me and my friend to get served. The food came in under 10 minutes so 4/5 for Speed.
Food - I got my usual Butterfly chicken with Peri-chips and garlic bread. The chip portion was kind of small with an ok amount of Peri-salt on and they tasted fine. The garlic bread was burnt in a nice way but wasn't fantastic. The chicken was delicious and bathed in extra hot sauce. This was above average food. 4/5 for the food.
Decor - The decor wasn't that impressive, no cool artwork upstairs, nothing that stood out. I got a brief look at the downstairs and it looked better with lots of booths and a huge mirror that made the room look like it went on forever, also there in tills on both floors which means no going upstairs to order 3/5 for decor.
Overall this was mainly an average branch with some pretty awesome chicken, and that's the most important thing so 4/5 for this branch.
