Unsurprisingly Baker street Nandos is located nearby Baker street tube station with its connections to the Metropolitan, Jubilee, Hammersmith and City and Circle lines making it very easy to get to. Madame Tussaud's is just round the corner from this Nandos, only three minutes away on foot.

As I approached Baker street Nandos I could see a small seating area of four tables located outside in front of the restaurant were all occupied. Upon entering I thought I would not get a table as this is a tiny Nandos location with only 15 tables indoors in addition to the 4 outdoors - well that’s what I thought until just before I left the restaurant when I visited the Gents toilets which are located downstairs basement level and found another 30 tables. This downstairs section is obviously the main part of the restaurant but if like me you are seated upstairs it's easy to miss this completely as I almost did. Both the upstairs and downstairs sections have their own tills, drink dispenser and sauce stations for convenience. If I visit Baker Street Nandos again I'll ask to sit downstairs.

When I first entered the restaurant I was met by a members of staff and seated straight away at table 17. After a quick peruse of the menu I decided to order a chicken breast (Mango and Lime) wrap with no sides and a soft drink as I was in a bit of a hurry and just wanted a light bite. With no sides being ordered I expected my chicken breast wrap to be served quickly and indeed it was, it arrived at my table in exactly 10 minutes.

This is the first time I have had a Nandos wrap and very much enjoyed it. It is the prefect peri-peri chicken based lighter lunch and was just what I was after to fill me. Having had Nandos chicken breast burgers before I think I prefer the Wrap with less bread and I'll be getting this from now on.

The staff here did everything expected of them with good friendly service, a quality check carried out at my table and quick and efficient ordering. No complaints from me.

And thats it, this was a flying visit for me, I just had a wrap with no side and a couple of refills of my sprite. Entered Nandos Baker Street, Seated, ordered & paid, food served, food consumed, gents visited and left Nandos Baker Street all in 25 mins. No issues or complaints - the staff were all great and did everything expected and needed.

So would I visit Baker Street Nandos again? Yes, but next time I would ask to sit downstairs in the larger basement area and if you don't mind the artificial lighting then you should too.
