Comments - Stand out in our monthly competition! What did you eat? Unique aspects? Parking/transport tips?:
Sophie - I think was a manager was having a discussion with a member of staff in the middle of the restaurant dismissing this member of staff for all customers to hear. The member of staff was extremely upset and distraught in the middle of the restaurant. When asking other members of staff for this lady’s name they refused and said they did not want to get involved.
This lady and the rest of the staff were then stood discussing our feedback in the middle of the restaurant and as we walked passed shushed eachother to stop talking.
The food was lovely as always and the other staff were pleasant however unwilling to take feedback.
From a managerial perspective this lady’s performance was unfair and unsatisfactory.
I hope the poor lady who got dismissed is okay, the manager after the conversation took this lady into the back - this discussion could have been held in the back in the first place.
