Battersea Power Station - Ryan Review
Wow - what a transformation Battersea Power Station is. The last time I went past this it was mostly a building site so seeing what it has become is pretty spectacular.
The nearest tube/rail stops are Battersea Power Station (tube), Battersea Park (overground/train) and Battersea Power Station (boat) - with Battersea Park being the furthers and only half a mile away. There is also parking - and not bad at all for London. This is limited but priced at 2hrs/£6.00, 4hrs/£10.00, 6hrs/£16.00, 24hrs/£30.00. This Nando's fan heartily recommends a stop at Battersea Brewery!! :)
This Nando's is a good size with lots of seating for large groups. It's very bright inside, mainly because the inside of the power station is rather dim. The walls are mostly glass windows so in every little space a small artwork or sculpture has been hung. Certainly a nice vibe to it.
It was nearly full when I arrived but there was still just over a 10 minute wait for food. I was claiming a red reward (hurray!) so went for a whole chicken, chips and rice. The chicken was a tad lean - and not much meat on it at all, but it was juicy and piping hot. Chips portion was a good size and were all hot and crispy. Rice was fine.
Staff were pleasant.
