Bayswater - Archive Review
In my opinion, looking to go out for a meal to a posh area which is buzzing at the same time - has to be Bayswater. And when I discovered a halal Nandos bang in the middle of this amazing area, I could not be more delighted! It is a short 5 mins walk from the station as well as with free parking after 6.30pm.
The Bayswater Nandos is ALWAYS busy, but that kind of adds to the whole experience a lot more than a not-so-busy Nandos. The staff has always been polite with a big smile; since we always have to wait for at least 10 minutes before getting a seat, this is a very noticeable aspect. On my visit during Ramadan, one of the greeting staff actually bothered to have a little chat with us seeing that we were waiting to have iftar (the meal right after breaking the fast for the day).
The food - as always, the grilled chicken was ordered. The food arrived very soon after despite it being so busy. We were slightly disappointed that there was no extra extra hot sauce available, (my fiance is especially fussy about his condiments)but we survived haha (please get more of those)!
The grilled chicken in Bayswater Nandos has always been perfect as opposed to a few others (eg. Kilburn) where I have received slightly burnt chicken.
All in all - given the choice and the eagerness of the people I go with, I prefer going to Bayswater Nandos 3 out of every 5 time that I plan to go out for a meal! Enjoy! :)
