Onto the last Nando's of the night and I ended up in Bayswater. This Nando's is just up and round the Whiteleys shopping centre from Bayswater tube station (about five minutes walk). Whiteleys is home to an Odeon and All Star Lanes bowling alley - and also offers parking priced at £2.80/hr for up to five hours and then £24 for up to eight hours (!). It's on the corner of two roads, but is poorly illuminated from the street. It's number 63 and you'll probably see the building with a big 65 on it first.

This Nando's is over two floor and the downstairs is very small, with only six tables or so, and then some counter-seating in the window at the back by the till. I was offered either of the two free tables downstairs but because people were sat at the tables next to them, I couldn't actually get into either of the tables to sit down - so even with six tables or so it's very tight. Upstairs there is a little more room (but not much), with about 15 tables including a couple of booths.

I imagine this is an older nando's as it seems to be showing its age. There are colourful blinds on all of the windows and a couple of large canvas paintings around the top of the stairs on the second floor, but this definitely needs some tlc... and paint. There are lots of chips out of the walls, lots of scuffs and marks over the beige walls... and on top of that - when I was here - lots of food left over the floor. There was one member of staff on solely upstairs (with only a few tables in use), but all of the food on the floor just seemed to go un-noticed. Toilets were in the basement down a very low sloped ceiling (mind your head!) and had nice buckets for sinks.

I wasn't expecting much with the bad first impressions, but the staff on the till and griller were very cheery and the food came in just under 10 minutes and was delicious. Being my third meal... I just went for a quarter chicken and chips and received a large juicy breast piece, very meaty indeed, lathered in sauce and a massive portion of very hot and crispy chips.
