Beaconsfield - Marc Joss Review
Nando's 150 was a huge milestone for James and me to reach, and somehow we managed to plan it so we'd visit our 150th together although our previous couple of visits were separate. Beaconsfield Nando's was the obvious choice as it's not too far from north-west London and very new!
James drove and within about 40 minutes, we were there! Obviously a car is ideal for a Nando's in a service station although Beaconsfield train station isn't that far away.
The decor was quite funky with split booths running down the restaurant as you walk in. There are still a few bits and bobs to finalise in terms of artwork, but overall it's a definite 4. There are no Nando's here and the music is pretty quiet, but that's the nature of an open plan service station!
Food came quickly and was delicious. My chicken had a kick to it too which is always welcomed. My only qualm was the portion size as I had plenty of room to polish off James's chicken and felt nowhere near full even after my regular order.
Overall this was a successful visit! Let's hope more service stations are honoured with Nando's in the near future and here's to the next 150!
