Berners Street - Adam Nicol Review
I went to this branch with my girlfriend after seeing Wizard of Oz the musical just down the road, we didn't have time to go before the show and I knew it would be a lot emptier afterwards and of course I was right, we arrived at half 10 and there was still a lot of people in there but plenty of empty tables, we got taken to a table for 2 but eventually got sat in a little booth for four which was nice for just the two of us.
Friendliness of Staff - The staff were very friendly in this branch, we were greeted with a huge smile from the greeter and he took us to a table for two, but then offered us a cosy booth once he had cleaned the table, this was awesome and we were left with a really good first impression of the branch, the person who served us was also friendly though not quite as awesome as the greeter, 5/5 for staff.
Speed of Service - We got greeted and seated immediately, though we waited a few minutes for the booth to be cleaned and readied for us, was worth the wait of course. There was no queue when we went up to order so we were sat back down within 2 minutes and our food took under 10 minutes to arrive, so 4/5 for Speed!
Food – The food was awesome in this branch, the chicken was fantastic and drenched in extra-hot sauce, the garlic bread was yummy and there was plenty of chips, delicious food. 4/5 for food!
Décor – This branch is one of the best ones I’ve been too in London, It has the awesome chilli lights hanging near the entrance, and the entrance is a bridge that goes over the downstairs with the stairs to the right of it. It has lots of nice booths along the sides of the restaurant and smaller tables in the middle, the branch feels really homely. There was lots of cool and interesting artwork, I was enjoying the piece that was hanging on the wall next to our booth, I’m not sure what it was made of but it was a 3D model of an African village, it seemed to be police with guns fighting people over a coke shop? But it was pretty awesome, so 4/5 for Décor!
Overall this was a really awesome visit to Nando’s, though I think first impressions and friendliness are the most influential things when reviewing, and getting seated in that booth kept us really happy for the whole meal, 4/5 for this branch!
