Berners Street - Anonymous Review
I got a sunset burger but waited over 30 minutes before it came. When it arrived the burger was cold. I told the waitress and she (Anna) brought me a new one after 3-4 minutes. The chicken was warm but the bun was cold and very dry. I couldn’t get in contact with a waiter and the line for the deck was very long (I was was very hungry, at this time I’ve waited like 40 minutes), so I ate almost the entire burger (very disappointed). I tried again to get in touch with the waitress and finally with success. She was sad that the burger was cold because she made it. She wanted to talk the waiter who cleaned my table (and took my plate with the rest of the burger). I then waited 10-15 minutes before she came back. She told me that she could get me a dessert or a drink for free (which was very sweet of her) but couldn’t help me otherwise because I “ate the evidence”. I told her the situation: I had been there for about 40 minutes before I got the second burger, couldn’t get in touch with a waiter and was very hungry. It was almost like she got a little bit mad about my disappointment, she said that she could only offer me a drink or a dessert. I got a soda and some chips (I asked for the chips which she also seemed a little bit mad about). I’m very dissatisfied with my visit and experience. Next time a situation like this happens, the waiter should call a manager who can help sort things out. And it should take over 30 minutes to make a burger. I ended up using over an hour which is really kind time for getting and eating a smaller burger and a soda. I used almost £13 for a water and a VERY BAD burger and VERY BAD experience
