Comments - Stand out in our monthly competition! What did you eat? Unique aspects? Parking/transport tips?:
Popped in to Berners Street restaurant (rarely go to the same restaurant twice - I am attempting to go to every single Nando's in the world, but occasionally forced by friends to repeat the same restaurant).
The restaurant was relatively empty given the fact that it was a Sunday evening. Ordered a Prego Steak Roll without cheese and pineapple and large peri fries and 5 wings. The Prego Steak Roll was Medium and the Wings were Hot. The wings were up to their usual standard and also larger than usual - probably the best Wings I have had in any Nando's. To say the Prego Steak Roll was underwhelming would be an understatement - The meat was chewy and this made it difficult to tear with bites leading to me taking too large mouthfuls and suffering ingestion later. It also lacked any flavour despite the fact it was Medium, and tasted rather plain indeed!
The water machine did not function. Also, there were no more Glasses available for tap water - so instead I was given a plastic takeaway cup.
It is also noteworthy that there was no Host at the door to usher to the seat - however the Nandoca's were quite friendly and this, therefore is the saving grace of the trip.
