Bethesda Row - Pompey Ranger Review
A rainy day saw my arrival at this town centre store which fortunately has the entrance to a multi storey car park next to it and you can admire the new graffiti murals on the exterior wall as you drive in. Parking is by a meter by each bay and was very reasonable.
I was desperate for the toilet upon arrival unfortunately someone had dropped a bottle of sauce in store and in the clean up process of themselves blocked the men's toilet due to the fact they stupidly only have a single male toilet and no urinal or stalls even through the same space would accommodate a cubicle and 2 urinals in a UK store.
Despite the store being full I was able to get a corner table (mostly due to the fact I think it was here the bottle was dropped as the bench and seat were still wet from being cleaned.
I redeemed the free olives on my stamp card which I hadn't finished by the time my main course had arrived. The chicken was perfectly cooked, succulent, hot and not at all burnt. The garlic bread is a different shape to the traditional Portuguese rolls but was very tasty and soft, the chips though not ample were well cooked.
They had the new beverage machine here which was good with over 50 flavours and I also enjoyed using the free wifi with the same password as all Nandos of "periperi"
The store was a hub of activity and many people were eating in, the local area is also nice and had some good shops.
