PLACE: Table 24. This was Lucy's third time at a Nando's and I was hoping it was going to blow her mind as well as her tastebuds. Unfortunately this miniNan is just a utilitarian chicken consumption zone rather than an impressive 'straunt. A soup kitchen for Nando's addicts. Sometimes I get people question me- "why Nando's? It's nothing special", which is when I raise my back up and start reciting mottos from the Nando's Defence League. But the problem is, there are occasional Nando's which just aren't that special and I fear that those are the ones that the haters have been to. This one's interior theming was scarce and the dining area felt very cramped and quite hard to exit had there been, say, a fire or flood. It was also empty and lacked atmos, which surprised me so much that it left me a little shaken up. Alas it was still a Nando's and it still played South American music- 4/10

HOST: Jovita was very caring. I have never had garlic bread. She held my hand through the garlic bread ordering process, outlining how many pieces I'd get and the various cheese options. When you're going out of your comfort zone in these sorts of places, it's good to have somebody there who is sympathetic and understanding- 7/10

FOOD: I tried the garlic bread. I don't like garlic bread. The only garlic bread I like is the Pizza Express garlic bread as it is stretchy like the Nando's pitta. If I'm going to have carbs, I like them to be stretchy rather than dusty and the Nando's garlic bread is sadly dusty. It was also hard to know when to eat it because aside from the garlic bread I only had bird and coleslaw. Usually I like an intermediate meat vehicle such as a pitta to get the food to my mouth but this time it was just a fork. It was a very big half chicken, lovely and saucy and with no egg flavour thank Barcelos- 7/10
