Birmingham - Bullring - Gerry Louis Review
Does no one work or go to school in this city? It was one pm and this place was packed. Though I suppose in saying that I'm always at work on a friday. A large queue and fifteen minute wait is what greeted me so i was dreading the food waiting time. The nicely coiffured young man wanted to lead me to a table round the back but i hi- jacked table 22 right by the utensils area and funnily enough next to table 42?
Met with another queue to order, but luckily they opened a fourth til to get rid of the line. Doesn't help when people in front don't know what they want to order however. Small meal and small portion it seems though i only waited twelve minutes for it. The half chicken was missing sauce and skin and was a little burnt. The mash just wasn't enough.
Interesting music and interesting design. The hanging lights make a great distraction from the colour of the walls. They do have a sofa type seat in the middle which is also quite different. In addition, the toilets just weren't as posh as Milton keynes' hub branch from yesterday. In saying that I Can't wait to do my next birmingham branch.
