A big away day at Villa Park was preceded by a meal at a nearby Nando's which I had never previously visited. Given the horrendous traffic on the M1 and M6, this visit ended up being a take-away, smash and grab affair as time was not on our side!
For the second time in a matter of weeks I used the online take-away service which worked well and I particularly enjoyed the "Add to favourites" function making it quicker to order repeat meals. We ended up arriving a good half an hour after our expected slot given the traffic and an unexpected Sat Nav mishap. The good news was that the food was not affected! My chicken wrap was still hot and delicious even when I got inside Villa Park and started eating it well over an hour after it was supposed to be ready.
This Nando's is in a retail complex with plenty of free parking, shops and leisure activities within walking distance. Villa Park is a 10-minute drive away on a good day, not taking matchday traffic into consideration.
The staff did a great job, all 5 orders were perfect and everyone enjoyed the food. The fact that Arsenal won 3-0 made it a perfect Saturday!
