Out of the various Nando's branches in the West Midlands the Nando's in the Birmingham Mailbox is my favourite, and it did not let me down this time. As usual, the staff were very friendly and the food was served swiftly. Unlike in some Nando's restaurants I have visited in the past, the music was not blasting out so loud that I could not hear my friend talking to me, but loud enough that I could imagine myself dancing on a beach in Portugal sipping wine and eating (of course) Piri Piri chicken!.
I went for my usual meal of the Chicken Butterfly (lemon and herb- don't judge me!) with chips and corn on the cob. All were cooked to perfection. I really cannot fault anything from my recent visit. It was the perfect pre-concert meal given that my friend and I were going to see S Club 7 on the opening night of their reunion tour. There 'Ain't no Party like a Nando's Party'!
I have it on good authority that the line of the song 'I'd never had a dream come true, until the day that I found you' was written about the day S Club 7 discovered Birmingham's Mailbox Nando's.
