A horrific away day at the Hawthorns could only be salvaged by a new Nando's in the Birmingham area, although the queue to enter the already full-up car park at Birmingham Resort World meant the start to this Nandventure was much more tense than we may have liked!

We eventually got into the car park which is £2 for up to two hours and headed to the lower ground to find there was a queue of about 15 people outside Nando's even though it was around 3:30! We were seated fairly quickly and placed our orders within a few minutes. Although the restaurant was full, I was very impressed to see our starter arrive within a couple of minutes and all three of our main courses were served about five minutes after that, with no issues to mention.

I went for a chicken wrap which was delicious and my sweet potato wedges were wonderful with my mayo mixed with vusa and seeds! The staff did their best to keep everyone happy and there's also a nice view of Pendigo Lake to take in while munching on the peri-peri goodness. my other comment is that I was essentially sitting on a tree trunk with a cushion on it, rather than a chair. It certainly made a change and was reasonably comfortable!

This is a great new addition to the Birmingham Nando's scene, although expect it to be busy, especially if there's an event on at the NEC.
